The Glass Cabin

Problem:
Woods shelter to cost less than three hundred dollars and to have rustic charm.
Solution:
Base of used sidewalk blocks, and sidewalls of discarded storm windows. Assemble it all yourself.
It
will always be known as Black Good Friday. To the cabin site with a load of
sidewalk blocks. Gentle drizzle. Thawing. Frost coming out of the ground. We
spent the rest of the day extricating our vehicle from saturated clay. Jack
up each wheel. Float sidewalk blocks under for a firm path, a launching pad.
Then: Step on the gas! -- we barely made it.
